This website (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent visitor guide that earns affiliate commission. This page explains how we handle personal data.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links: tour links go to GetYourGuide and hotel links go to Expedia through Stay22. If you book through one of them we may earn a commission, and the price you pay is the same.
Booking data
Booking data (name, payment details, contact details) is collected and processed by GetYourGuide, not by this website. When you book, you give your information to GetYourGuide under its privacy policy.
Information we collect
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) for security and operations.
- Email contact data: if you email us, we keep your address and message to reply.
We do not run analytics or advertising trackers of our own, and we do not collect payment information, booking details, ID numbers or precise location.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. The GetYourGuide partner script it loads sets a session_id cookie on this domain, and GetYourGuide sets a visitor_id cookie on getyourguide.com; both serve GetYourGuide’s partner analytics and booking attribution. The booking widget and any GetYourGuide page you open follow GetYourGuide’s own cookie and privacy policies. You can block cookies in your browser; the booking widget may then not work.
Third-party services
- GetYourGuide: the booking widget and tour links. Privacy policy.
- Stay22 and Expedia: hotel links go through Stay22 to Expedia, which handles any hotel booking. Stay22 privacy policy; Expedia’s policy is on its site.
- Google Fonts: the site loads type from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, so Google can see your IP address and browser when the fonts load. Privacy policy.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, object to its processing, or receive a copy. For booking data, contact GetYourGuide. For email you sent us, write to info@mtfujidaytripfromtokyo.com.
Retention
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider under its own retention policy.
- Email: kept for up to 2 years, or deleted sooner on request.
Children
This website does not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
